The Value of Community

Today I picked up the keys on my most recent investment property. This one is a tri-plex that I bought 50/50 with a partner in the Nouveau Riche community.

My partner says: "This property was acquired using raised capital through partners I met in my investor community. I love how we can bring resources together to do deals. I put the deal together, they brought the cash, everyone profits."

In this case, he had others contributing to his 50%, and I was able to put up the other 50%. He will be managing the property, and we are already making progress with needed repairs, one of which is to paint the exterior. You can see why.
